Soundbar Installation Options
Below the TV (on mount)
Clean, integrated look
No – wires hidden behind soundbar or inside wall
Above the TV
High ceilings or unusual room layouts
No – wires routed behind TV
On a media console
When you don't want to drill extra holes
Yes – unless we hide them behind the console
Our standard recommendation: Mount the soundbar directly below the TV, attached to the wall or to the TV mount itself. The soundbar stays perfectly aligned with the screen, and wires run behind both devices – completely invisible.
How We Hide Soundbar Wires
Behind the soundbar
If your soundbar is mounted flush to the wall, we route the cable straight up behind the soundbar and into the TV. The soundbar body hides the connection point.
In-wall (cleanest)
We cut small holes behind the soundbar and behind the TV, then fish the HDMI or optical cable inside the wall. Zero visible wires anywhere.
Cord cover (for brick or rentals)
We use a paintable raceway that matches your wall color. The cover is barely visible, especially if placed behind the soundbar.
Wireless soundbars
Even “wireless” soundbars need power. We hide the power cord using the same methods. The audio connection (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi) is truly wireless.

Surround Sound Speaker Installation
For home theater enthusiasts, we install full surround sound systems:
Front left/right
Wall-mounted at ear level
In-wall or behind baseboards
Center channel
Above or below TV (often behind an acoustically transparent screen)
In-wall
Surround (side/rear)
Wall-mounted or on stands
Under carpet, behind baseboards, or in-wall
Ceiling (Atmos)
Flush-mounted in ceiling
In-ceiling (requires attic access or wire fishing)
Subwoofer
Floor placement (wireless or wired)
Wires hidden along baseboards
We do not install in-ceiling speakers that require cutting into ceilings without attic access – but we can recommend contractors who specialize in that work.
Wireless vs. Wired Speakers
Ease of installation
Easier – fewer cables
Harder – need to run speaker wire
Audio quality
Good, but compressed
Excellent (no compression)
Latency
Minor delay possible
No delay
Wire hiding
Still need power cords
Need to hide speaker wire
Best for
Casual listening, soundbars
Home theaters, critical listening
Our recommendation: For soundbars, wireless is fine. For dedicated home theater surround sound, wired is significantly better.
Audio Calibration – We Don’t Just Mount, We Tune
After installing your soundbar or speakers, we:
Connect everything to your TV (HDMI ARC, optical, or Bluetooth)
Configure your TV’s audio settings (pass-through, bitstream, etc.)
Run test tones to confirm all speakers work
Adjust subwoofer crossover and volume
Show you how to control everything with your existing remote
Most TV installers skip this step. We don’t.

“My husband and I just moved into a new place and we’re wanting to find somebody to help us mount our TVs. We were hoping to find somebody same day. Got a couple of other quotes from different places and this seemed the most fairly priced. Andy responded really quickly and was able to not only mount our large TV. He also had a mount that he could sell us because ours was older. We are very happy with how everything turned out. The TV is very secure. He even followed up a couple of days later to make sure that everything was still good. We will definitely be using him in the future for different things we need help with.”
